Something to Appreciate

One of my favorite things to appreciate about photography is how much emotion one photo can capture. Here is a picture of my sister, her husband Stephen, and the unforgettable moment they first met their daughter. So much love and joy in their expressions... it makes me cry every time!

Here is my first moment with my niece. Literally, she took my breath away. Tears were just sitting in my eyes for a few minutes as I took her in. The little peanut kept trying to work her way out of the blanket- I can already tell she likes things done her way (just like her mother).

Today I am a proud sister, sister-in-law, and Auntie. And I'm so thankful these moments were captured to hold onto forever.

love you e,
love, t.

  1. Oh my gosh, T. I was just catching up on your entries and saw these pics for the first time. That one of Jess and Steve is amazing; I couldn't stop looking at it because, as you said, there is so much emotion captured in that one photo. Maddie is beautiful and I know she has grown a ton since the second picture, but isn't it wonderful to look back and reminisce about when you held your niece the first time? There is something so special about being an aunt. :o)

    Love,
