This is one place I'm just dying to see. They say that winter is the best time to go if you want to see the Northern lights in their prime; however, they also said that winter is not the best time to take a cruise. I don't think I'm brave enough to cruise through Alaska though- I would fear that the ship would go Titanic on me and hit an iceberg. I mean, it's ALASKA!
But seriously, how beautiful is this place?! God has some serious skill if you ask me.

I sent my parents on an Alaskan cruise for their 25th wedding anniversary a couple years ago. They have pictures where my mom was standing on the left side of the boat and was reaching out and touching an iceburg they got so close, then they have a picture of my dad on the right side doing the same thing. They saw whales swimming next to the ship, the pictures of the mountains and iceburgs are absolutely beautiful! I would LOVE to go one day myself!
